Coll.While the State of Florida does not require Comprehensive and Collision coverage to be held on a Auto Insurance policy, your bank may require you to carry the coverage if you finance or lease your car. When you add either(or both) of these coverages, you choose a deductible, typically $250 or $500. This is the amount that you pay out of pocket to the repair shop, while the insurance covers the rest of the monetary damages. Not sure what each coverage entails?
