Rain, Rain, Go Away - Indoor Activities in St. Aug

​Rain – we’ve been seeing plenty of it here in St. Augustine over the last few weeks. Although it’s great to be able to spend the day in the sunshine, sometimes Mother Nature has other plans, but luckily the Oldest City offers plenty of indoor activities as well!

Flagler College

Take a tour through the town’s stunning Flagler College building on a rainy day. Tours explore the architecture of the building and its history, built in 1888 by Henry Flagler and formerly known as the Hotel Ponce de Leon.

Lightner Museum

Across the street from Flagler College sits the Lightner Museum, another beautiful building built by Henry Flagler originally known as the Alcazar Hotel. Today, a collection of memorabilia lines the halls, and the museum is free for St. Johns residents on Sundays!

St. Augustine Distillery & San Sebastian Winery

For those of us over 21, the St. Augustine Distillery and San Sebastian Winery offer free tours and tastings.
