Halloween is right around the corner, and although the holiday is all about having fun and celebrating “spooky season,” Leigh Insurance Agency knows it’s also important to stay safe and healthy during the excitement! While some activities may have been curbed by COVID-19 this year, families who choose to participate in Trick-or-Treat or other events should remember basic tips to help stay protected during the holiday!

Aside from taking precautions to protect against the coronavirus, like staying social distanced when possible, kiddos Trick-or-Treating should always remember to practice street safety, like looking both ways before crossing the road and wearing something bright or bringing a flashlight if it’s getting dark outside.

In addition, young children should make sure they are walking with an adult or group, and families should be sure to sort candy before eating!
